Ha ha, nice work 😄
Ha ha, nice work 😄
I’ve just shipped in an Xbox One X last week, and part of the reason is to watch The Last Jedi in 4K… first Star Wars in UHD!
Looking forward not just to revisiting the film, but to seeing the documentaries and particularly the deleted scenes.
It’s a long film too, and long films generally ‘play better’ in the home when you can be comfy on the sofa and take breaks. If the deleted scenes warrant it, I’m sure a fan editor will release an extended edition to make it even longer.
I’m about to watch TLJ again because there’s a free screening here, and I can’t wait to see just how much it still owns. Later, nerds!

Enjoy it, ya big nerd.
If there is one thing I’d love more than anything it’d be to watch TLJ projected on film, which sadly won’t happen because all cinemas here have replaced film projectors with digital projectors.
I didn’t encourage anybody to download this, I just found this intriguing. (And wanted to give your opinions on it.)
My opinion is you made a pointless post.
I’ve already got the 4K steelbook preordered for the 27th and the digital copy for Tuesday. Cant wait!
ICYMI, my opinion after a second viewing.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi
I still think it’s the coolest thing since Kurosawa. Go suck a laser sword, fanboys. 😛

I think the youtube critics are the same people who click on the “hot singles in your area” ads…
Or they’re just ordinary Star Wars fans who were very disappointed with TLJ (their numbers are legion), and love discussing/debating it, as well as the future of the franchise.
😒
Myself, I can’t figure out for the life of me why the writers and directors aren’t mining the wealth of ideas in the now-defunct EU. Even if it’s no longer canon, many of the concepts were fantastic and deserve to be used in film.

Just now they leaked The Last Jedi’s Blu-Ray on torrent sites. Just like how they leaked TFA in advance. So, what now?
Why would that alter your own course of action?

Free screening? Sure, it’s worth free, I suppose.
Petition is now at 100k signatures. Below is the petition description:
Star Wars has long been a story about two things, the Jedi and Luke Skywalker. After over 260 novels where we could follow the adventures of that great hero you, the Walt Disney Company decided to strike all of that from the official canon and wiped out three decades of lore. We were excited to see Episode VII to see how our heroes lives turned out since you took away what we knew. We saw the death of Han Solo, we saw less than a minute of Luke Skywalker.
Episode VIII was a travesty. It completely destroyed the legacy of Luke Skywalker and the Jedi. It destroyed the very reasons most of us, as fans, liked Star Wars. This can be fixed. Just as you wiped out 30 years of stories, we ask you to wipe out one more, the Last Jedi. Remove it from canon, push back Episode IX and re-make Episode VIII properly to redeem Luke Skywalker’s legacy, integrity, and character.
We stuck by you when you did things that hurt us before, so we ask you now, please don’t let this film stand. Don’t do this to us. Don’t take something so many of us loved so much and destroy it like this. Let us keep our heroes.
While obviously this will never happen and if it were to happen it would be completely unfair to those that liked the movie, I can’t fault what he says and I wasn’t even into the EU myself.

100k confirmed butthurt fanboys.
Oh, FFS. If that’s the thing that keeps them up at night, I envy them.
We’ll get the OOT in 4K before that ever happens.
Where were you in '77?

a certain project should be done by the weekend, if that’s what you’re referring to.
Don’t you know Disney® Death Squads™ broke into my home, burned all my Legends books, and replaced them all with TLJ DVDs?

I meant an official release from the Mouse. 😛

Last Jedi blu ray purchases will outnumber petition signers.

Oh sorry, that was me. My bad.
Last Jedi blu ray purchases will outnumber petition signers.
Absolutely

Confirmation confirmed.
Last Jedi blu ray purchases will outnumber petition signers.
Without a doubt, though I won’t number among them nor will around 100k other people. I know of others that haven’t signed the petition that are actively boycotting all future Disney SW movies in the cinemas and home release purchases.
Congratulations.
Ceci n’est pas une signature.
As it requires no great sacrifice or personal inconvenience on their part, it kind of cheapens the concept of a boycott. Let’s see them deny their kids a trip to the parks or buying other Disney product.

For the people that like TLJ and obviously can’t accept that there is a portion of the fan base that don’t - you do realise that you are not obligated to respond and if you do, maybe you could be a little more considerate and respectful in your responses rather than insulting and deriding.
