All of my friendships are entirely unrewarding. I might as well not know anybody.
I’m not sure what makes a friendship rewarding other than pleasure of company.
Dependability, loyalty, honesty, chemistry…
I don’t have people with whom I socialize on a regular basis and I’m not good at staying in touch. Maybe it’s a trust issue or extreme introversion but I’m pretty okay with it.
I certainly have issues putting trust in others, and have been told I am the most antisocial person they know, so who knows. All I know is I don’t feel like I’m getting the most out of life and feel mostly unwanted.
