I agree with the former because I believe God is omnibenevolent. I disagree with the latter because I believe God is omnibenevolent.
Could be. But maybe not. No one knows.
As I’ve said in the past, I don’t claim to “know”. God could be evil, or bipolar, or mischievous, or indifferent, or non-existent, but none of these alternatives appeal to me, so I don’t make any of them my default POV.
