Random Ideas:

Lift the Hyperspace ramming concept from The Last Jedi and have the Executor kamikaze the Eclipse after some sort of engine failure/malfunction.

Eh…I don’t know. I prefer the actual crash from Return of the Jedi. The hyperspace ramming was really strange to me (and kind of broke SW physics to me). But if you think you can execute it well, by all means go for it!

JEDIT: I’ve also got the first and third paragraph of the crawl done but I have no idea what to put in the second one.

The alliance is doomed.
After the destruction of the
Rebel base, the Empire has declared
martial law throughout the galaxy.

???

Luke Skywalker has returned to
his home planet of Tatooine in
an attempt to rescue his
friend Han Solo from the
clutches of the vile gangster
Jabba the Hutt…

Don’t feel like you need to use this idea at all, but I’m a lurker who is mostly here to see ROTJ edits, since I feel like that movie has some flaws that can be fixed. I saw another thread where they were talking about adjusting the crawl for ROTJ to make it seem like Luke had gone to visit Yoda in between Empire and Jedi:

The alliance is doomed.
After the destruction of the
Rebel base, the Empire has declared
martial law throughout the galaxy.

Torn over Darth Vader’s
revelations, Luke Skywalker
has returned to Dagobah
to refine his Jedi skills.

Meanwhile, he awaits
a summons from his friends [or those] preparing
to rescue Han Solo from the
clutches of the vile gangster
Jabba the Hutt…

Benefits:
-Luke’s progress is more believable, and his maturity makes more sense as well.
-By the time Luke shows up on Tatooine, we can assume he has got that summons and that’s why he’s now there.
-“No more have you to learn” makes a lot more sense as well.
-We get the idea that Luke and/or Yoda have been dodging the topic of Vader until the very end, underlining it’s importance to the characters and the story. Treating it casually they are not; it’s haunting them.
-Yoda’s death is a lot less random. We can assume his health had been declining the whole time Luke was training with him, and was just holding out over the short time that Luke went to go save Han.
-The “I’ve got a promise to keep to an old friend” line can stay, it’s expected that Luke wouldn’t leave Yoda behind without promising to return.

But this is just an idea. It is, I think, a really good (and simple) one, one that alters the tone of the film in the right way, and one that works with your edit. But don’t feel like you have to take it.

Anyway, I love the premise of your edit. The idea of making the ROTJ that Gary Kurtz would have done is a good one, and if done right could make a much stronger film.

P.S. The idea of Endor being Had Abbaddon’s sanctuary moon is a good one, and also fits in with the Gary Kurtz spirit. But this is your edit.
EDIT: It looks like discussion may have moved past that. If that’s the case…ignore the PS.

Nice visuals BTW
