I couldn’t even fathom wanting to kill others before a suicide. As someone who constantly struggles with suicidal thoughts a big concern is that whatever afterlife I walk into would be determined by how good of a person I was and by killing people and then wanting to kill myself I’d feel like I’m just sending myself straight to hell voluntarily. Like I don’t understand how you could have so little of a conscious that after doing a despicable act you could think "yeah… I’m ready to face the afterlife now ".

No that wasn’t political or necessarily on topic but it popped into my head reading this.
