Alternate vocal isolation methods?

Sup everyone?Okay so i been using adobe audition cc 2015 for sometime now & while i’ve done my fair share of vocal isolation (I.E vocal without any music) with noise removal i was wondering if there are other easier methods with this software that i can preform when doing isolations?If so can anyone post a step by step tutorial or type down the best settings for this program?

this is the method i have used in the past and it gets pretty good results. the example in the video is not a very good one, but the process is the same.
