I think Hamil is a great actor, but he has not aged well and would need to lose his gut in order to play the Joker. That's why I think he should do the voice and have someone else do the body. It also might give an interesting disconnect that could be quite creepy. I think the Joker could be done brilliantly if they make him closer to the animated series and make people forget about the great job put in by Nicholson.

I don't think that Katie Holmes did a bad acting job, but she seemed about ten years younger than Bale. I was suprised when I found out that she is only about five years younger than Bale. She just seems a lot younger. The kids that played them seemed to be the same age.
Holmes also didn't seem to be as intense as the other actors. She seemed to be in a slightly different movie than everyone else. Again, I don't think she did a bad job or is a bad actress, but I found it distracting in the movie.
