You're right: if I were to assume the role of ISB officer, I should play it Putin...

Actually, we should ask ourselves the question: is our childr.... errr - I mean, can we treat this whole "fixing the classics" trend seriously? Doesn't it look to you that movie makers behave like a kid trying to rubber out stupid answers in a test after it was checked and then pretend that these were the original ones and the score was too low? I can understand that our civilization speeds up the "replacing old with new" process, but shouldn't it only apply to technology and not to movies? Doesn't it mean that they treat us all as the "common popcorn munchers" who can't see through the bells&whistles of the flick and see some other aspects of it, like the plot, acting, conveyed message etc.? Next time they're gonna "upgrade" other films, aimed at more demanding viewers, using the "lowest common denominator" so that they appeal more to a wide audience. So expect some sex, teen-humor, high-paced action and pop-music celebs to be added into "Schindler's List", "Passion", "Casablanca" ( "Play it again, Eminem..." ),...

And no, it wasn't supposed to be funny...
