I was born there!

Couldn’t live there again though, the weather is terrible.

I live an hour away from Chicago (in northwest Indiana) and loved in Chicago for four years while I was in college. I love the city so damn much, but man is it expensive to live there.

I want to get American citizenship and live in Chicago the rest of my life.

I lived several years in Chicago and I consider going back there, it’s a great city.

I really liked Boston too, but Chicago really stole my heart.

Boston is better.

I like the insanity of the winter in Chicago. If I didn’t care about being near family I’d be back there in a heartbeat. I miss commiserating with the monkeys at the zoo, running along the lake, really just everything.

I dislike Boston on principle, never having been there.

Just how much of the Omniverse do you hate?

Most of the parts I’m aware of, which isn’t very much I think.

I don’t think one of them is objectively better, both have different pros and cons. Personally I like Premiere and haven’t tried Vegas. Premiere is more common than Vegas in Hollywood (I think a majority use Avid though) and probably more common among video editing professionals. But the important thing is the results you get and how the program feels to you. And you might have to consider the cost as well. So use whichever program you like.

Wait, the weather in Boston is terrible? Why?

What’s Pulp Fiction’s original aspect ratio? I rented it on TV to watch it 2 days ago and it was 2.35:1, but I seem to remember watching it a couple of years ago and I think the aspect ratio was 16:9. Am I crazy, or was there a release with a different aspect ratio, or has it always been 2.35:1?

Whatever TV channel you watched it on years ago probably cropped it.

Oh, ok. I love the terrible weather here to be fair. But maybe after a couple of years having to deal with it I’ll start hating it.

Hot and humid in the summer, cold and snow that never melts in the winter. What’s not to love?

Always been 2.35:1 anamorphic. If you saw it in 16:9, the sides were cut off.

Yep, all of this. I’m close enough that I get more or less the same weather as Chicago. Plus I get the added benefit of all the extra lake effect snow Chicago doesn’t usually get, being that I live at the southern tip of Lake Michigan.

I hate winter.

This describes Boston weather as well. So, yeah, terrible.

I had it on VHS in the 90’s and the aspect ratio was 2.35:1

I remember because at the time all I had was a 14" TV and the movie looked tiny!
