I think the thing I like best about Foxtrot is that the author, while trying to reach out to general audiences mostly, is not afraid just to be the geek that he is (and we are!) and give us jokes that many people would not get. Aside from the great Star Wars riffs, he includes all sorts of fun references to other films, video games, etc.
