Not exactly bitching… but I do have a little conundrum.
I was at a small party tonight at a friend’s place, whose other friends I don’t know, and I met a girl who I took a liking to. I’m pretty (read: completely) inexperienced when it comes to women, and it was a very small party (about ten folks) in a small apartment, so there was never any chance to be alone to ask her out or for her number. I could seek her out on Facebook (probably possible, though I don’t use FB much, and it just seems a bit creepy to me), or I could text my friend about her, which seems awkward to. I don’t see us happening to be in the same place any time soon. What’s the best way about this?
Facebook is fine and not too creepy these days, BUT the old fashioned way is always best.
Talk to your mutual friend and find out about her situation and info. Then contact her directly. It shows confidence (even if you have none) and is more personal and nice than a message via facebook.
It also eliminates any chance to seem like a creep. You aren’t going through her pics n’ such. Just a nice guy doing things the right way like a Post Post-Modern Man. (DEVO!)
