I've come to this thread late, and I apologize if this has been resolved, but there seems to be occasional talk about an NTSC version of Moth3r's set, and how hard it would be.

Since I just did something similar lately, here's a proposed method if someone wants to try it:
1) Use DVD decrypter and make separate direct stream audio and video rips.
2) Use DVDPatcher on the video file to convert the header from 576 lines to 480.
3) Use DGPulldown to change the flags from 25 fps to 29.97 (it's actually 23.97 fps NTSCFilm internally)
4) Remux audio video.
5) Reauthor DVD (easy if you just want the movie and lots more work if you want to convert the menus too).

There will be no slow down as a result (DGPulldown is great), but your DVD player may need the ability to actually play PAL to some degree (at least video with 576 lines). Compatibility will probably vary.

Just thinking out loud.

Btw, some fantastic clarity to your DVD Moth3r.
