I for one would like to thank both Cowclops and TR47 for the huge amounts of time, effort and money I'm sure have been put into both of these projects, whatever their roles. I don't fault either one of them for wanting to make a couple of bucks on their restoration efforts. Cowclops and TR47 are both fans of the highest caliber and I'm sure their main concern is that fans around the world have access to the best possible quality release of the O-OT available. I don't have a problem making a "small donation" for the sake of materials and effort if the return on my donation is a quality product that I can enjoy for years to come. At the same time I think that anyone and everyone should have access to any and all of these sets for as minimal a fee as possible (free if possible), be it through the internet, trade for blanks or what have you. Its painfully obvious that GL won't ever be getting any of my hard earned cash for his preservation efforts on the O-OT so I don't have a problem giving it to those that will help preserve this great piece of movie Americana. Each person that "donated" to TR47 for a copy of the first TR47/Cowclops set helped to ensure that there would be TR47/Cowclops 2.0 because a portion of that money went to financing this new set that we are all so eager to get our hands on and I'm sure version 2.0 won't be the end either. So let this be my silent applause to both of you, and everyone else who ever put forth an effort to preserve this Trilogy that we all love so much.
To TR47, Cowclops, Laserman, zion, MeBeJedi, Rikter, Moth3r, MagnoliaFan, babyhum, Dr Gonzo and the many more that I have forgotten or just don't know, thank you. Your efforts inspire us to take what we have been given and make it better.
