I loved Fight Club. How is the WP different?

The score is temped and the effects aren't complete. With the alternate score, the movie is totally different, because mostly, it's just not there. A lot of the narration is different, more somber. Some of this can be heard in the deleted scenes section of the DVD. All of the deleted/alternate scenes on the DVD are integrated and there are ones that weren't on the DVD. For instance, there's a behind-the-scenes segment showing the filming of a scene wherein Jack is told (at the airport) that his luggage has been destroyed, which isn't in the deleted scenes section. That scene (amongst others) are in this cut.

I will take some caps once my main pc is up again. Does yours bhave the "skip" when hes writing haiku and emailing them to everyone? Mine is very high-gen, and would need some real cleanup, particularlyin for ghosting, off colors, and faded audio. I'd rate my copy a 6, maybe.
What do you mean there's no ice? I gotta drink this coffee hot?!

I'll check on that skip, I don't recall at the moment. My copy is decently solid, I think it just suffers a lot of static/grain issues.

Meanwhile, now that everyones talking Frighteners, I have a set of DVDs I got off DVDr-Core overa year ago. They are PAL, I beleve, and capped from a VHS of the LDs. Pro menus, 2.0 sound, kinda soft black levels, and the documentary is broken up oddly acrossed the 2 discs, but its 100% watchable, and it sustains me while I wait for a newer version with the DD5.1 and the commentary. Doesanyone know how to make screencaps with Apple DVD Player for Mac?

I have no idea how to cap with a Mac, but I would definitely be interested in a copy of your set, should I not be able to obtain a copy of the LD set to have MeBe create DVDs from myself.

Yeah, the guy who sent me that Frighteners copy was an idiot who copied things a la VCR. Tsk tsk. I hadn't really noticed it til now, but the black levels could certainly be better, as could the quality in general. Ah well. Perhaps someone can redo it and really nail it, with commentary and all that.

Good luck on allll THAT Beastly. The set is rare.

I've seen copies of fan Harry Potter Extended Edition with DVD deleted footage added back in.
The problem is that the ABC showings have even more content than the deleted footage available, and transitional elements (and music cues) are missing making some of the edits a little hard compared to the ABC counterpart.

Yes I put a lot of effort into this, I sat and compared my vid tape of HP1 with an extended cut from the net. I also know for a fact that there was deleted scenes in HP2 on ABC that I've never seen anywhere else (including DVD deleted content).

What we really need is someone with digital cable/satellite and a TIVO willing to do a PDTV copy for everyone. Heck they broadcasted in HDTV with 5.1 sound!
I'm actually surprised that FoV, BT@Efnet, etc. never did these.

I have it, but i dont have the original iso, when i remake an iso it says i only have 99.99% so doesnt list me as a seeder, but the hash check seems to check out for that 99.99% which should in theory work if you burned it since its an image from my disc. My guess is that its just because i ripped the iso with a different software but i dont know.

Ill be willing to 'seed' it and if you want to download it and see what happens go for it, but you may want to just go to the myspleen forums and request a reseed as someone out there probably has the original iso, or maybe someone can reup it as a video_ts folder.

Ill check it periodically so if i seed people on it, ill start my seed and see how that works out if people want.

The Frighteners laserdisc set is up on eBay right now. It does have a reserve on it, but the seller says that "it's a low reserve." If anyone wants to contribute anything at all to helping me buy this laserdisc set, so I can have it properly transfered and preserved on DVD by MeBeJedi, PM or email me at reverendbeastly at gmail.com. Anything at all would help and, of course, you'd get complimentary copies of the DVD set afterward.

WHY don't a few of us team up kick in $20-$75 each THEN work out a TRANSFER with one of the gang, the AFTER the transfer is done flip the LD back on eBay for $200 again, THEN split the cash back up?

I’d be down to kick in a few bucks ($20-30) for this project!

IF this is done then EVERYONE here and elsewhere will benefit and you will also get back your initial investment
