Do these animation films need preservation?

As soon as possible I’ll PM you with the links. I got a *.TS file without that logo.

And it seems like there are 2 distinct PAL releases, then. The one I got is from Portugal and features 8 audio languages. This one is letterboxed.

According to this cover, there’s a British release with another set of languages:

It says it’s widescreen, so probably that’s the version you got. There’s one thing I’m finding strange: I never knew this movie got a 5.1 mixing. The American release is certainly stereo, as is the PAL version I got.

If you’re interested, and have some free time, you could rip the LD audio and send me the RAW/WAV/FLAC files and I can mux them in x264 encodes. Or if there are a larger number of people, I could re-author the DVDs, albeit without changes in the menus, so the audio should be selected by remote.
