The Indiana Jones Project (Released) — Page 4

Well I just finished downloading the Muppets Babies parody

Editing it now, very funny, its a temple of doom parody!

Rememberd that there was alot of Indy Jones referances on the show, Doug.

I see on myspleen only the first season available, so does anyone know exactly what episode of Doug had any Indy referances?

Also, what does everyone think of me adding the full episode of Free Hat from South Park?

I dunno about full episodes of South Park, I mean, everything that is going on the disc as far as I can tell is really not available anymore commercially like South Park, as is the case with the original version of Star Wars (which this site is all about).

*shrugs* Besides, you'll have to either compress the video so much that it won't look so hot or multiply the number of discs you're planning on the finished product to be.

I could be alone here, but I'm only interested in the making of the films and all of the related adverts, commercials etc.., and not too keen on the parodies.

Not to rain on the parade or anything...

That is where I stand as well, all I really want are the "making of..."s and things directly related to the films.

Of course, Parodies could be their own project, and maybe you could set it up like some of the compilations Rikter did with the online fan films(the exact name of the project escapes me at the moment).

Well the parodies dont fill out any hard drive space at all for the Muppets clip which I believe is the longest Indy parody is around 6 minutes long and got it very good quality around 50 megs.

As I said there will be two disks, one for the documentaries and the other for bonus features like parodies

PS: Yeah not going to add South Park

Hmm, I kind of assumed they'd be bigger than that.

Anyway, this seems to be a very promising project for my second favorite series.

I'd like to help out with this more, but I don't really know what I could do besides add my .02.

Thats not a problem at all, the other members of the board will be supplying me with content.

I will be posting template menu screens, so I would love to have your comments on them

Thanks!

Is the Simpsons clip from the raiders' spoof going to be in it.

Okay and don't forget to include the dialogue from the Simpsons' episode "When Flanders Failed".....

"Today we learned how to rip a man's heart out and show to him before he dies".
"A Jedi can feel the force flow through him".

I should include a line of dialogue?
Author
Time
Or? the clip of that scene that was featured in that episode

you know what i mean..
"A Jedi can feel the force flow through him".
Author

I know, I mean is it really worth it to just include a line of dialogue in a video?

Any other opinions on this?
Author
Time
Just include a video clip of it

I say don't bother, I mean if we were to take a clip of every line from every show or movie inspired by Indiana Jones we'll be done in 2050.

I have a VHS tape with tons of Temple of Doom press coverage (including a TV commercial) and some Last Crusade stuff. Where should I send a copy of it to?

Neil

Well at least the reversed surround channels have been addressed.

I would love 2 C "Isolated Score" versions of the Indiana Jones movies. Especially Raiders. That movie has some of the best music I've ever heard.

Wow!

That would be amazing.

Can you send it through electronically?

Well.............

There is no perfect isolated score, I can cut out one of the 5.1 channels and strip alot of the music from the movies that way, but it might include special effects, some voice, and it will be a mono track.

Nope, but I'd be happy to put it on Super-VHS if that means it will find it's way into this project.

Well actually, I know it sounds really stupid, but I dont have the capability as of now to upload it to my computer.

MAYBE someone on the boards will be able to upload it, then send it to me.

Because that piece you have sounds amazing and really the whole point of this project.

Oh you will love whats on it. Lots of really good stuff.

!!!

Cant wait.

Baby hum, or any other member, can you take this assignment?

To give your address, upload the VHS to your computer, and then send it to me?

This would be an excellent addition.

And of course will put your name in the Credits.

I believe all of the actual score has been released. What isn't common is the full "Well of the Souls" music which was on a double vinyl rerelease only. (It was left off the CD because the CD only holds 74 mins of audio & this would have pushed it above that.)

The only "music" I can think of that U would have 2 rip from the DVD is the Egyptian's beautiful singing while digging 4 the ark & singing on the wharf. And Sallah singing Gilbert & Sullivan. And some windchimes when the monkey dies?
