Once again, the Oscars are a joke. Wish I could cobble up a fake statuette and somehow get it to Mark. I used to have a fake Oscar, but loaned it out to a local comic shop where it subsequently disappeared.
Agreed. Lucas should’ve won Best Director in 1978, and imo Hamill at least deserved a nomination for this one.
I don’t think the Academy likes Star Wars.
