As I reflect, I agree that the Leia spacewalk scene cannot be separated from her ejection into space in the first place by more than one brief scene, not the two TLJ separates them by.
And I love the idea of cutting from the shot of the Jedi tree burning after the Yoda scene to the establishing shot of Crait right before Leia tells them to close the door.
The other nice thing about moving the Yoda scene is it fits more thematically into the story. We hit out absolute lowest point as the resistance flees away, holdo dies, and Kylo declares himself supreme leader, then Yoda reinvigorates us, gives the speech about failure after all of the failures that our character went through, and then the audience feels a bit more momentum into Crait and keep Luke in the back of their mind.
