Story time one time i was
DMing a game in a store and it was about a 5 person group and there was this one person who would constantly judge every call i would make ,every dice roll i would tell them to make.
So to keep his identity a secret rule lawyer. For example we were in a combat turn and the wizard in the group says i perform magic missile and i reply with you will need to roll one d4 and mr rule lawyer says no we have to check the players hand book we spent 15 minutes looking thorough the players hand book and i was right.
Moral of the story please don’t be a rule lawyer
