After rejecting it for a while, I honestly think an 3 hour epic cut of both films could be cool. I will still just be sticking to doing a regular last jedi edit but am looking forward to the 2 in 1’s that will be done.
They have such different visual aesthetics, and I don’t know if that would take me out of the whole experience.
Yes. The first shot of Luke in TLJ was there to establish “this is a different film”. That’s my greatest concern.
