give your head a wobble - means ‘have a re-think’ / step back and think it through again.
soft lad - means ‘mate’. Sometimes a mate who’s having a slow thinking day (like before a morning coffee - or someone having one of those days).
I’ll try and stick to the more generic English vernacular from now on.
