Maybe I would have found it more moving if I were black and/or a woman, I don’t know.

I guess my ultimate question is why you would have to be black and/or female to have a positive reaction to the speech rather than “meh” but I’m willing to drop it at this point.

I just didn’t think it was that great or that moving.

What was it about, Warbler?

Racism, sexism, sexual harassment/assault, “me too”, advancement of African Americans and women, etc.

So…stuff that doesn’t affect you?

Probably not as much as they do women and minorities, but I still consider them to be important issues.

Definitely not as much as them.
