I don’t know it works where you are, but in my experience in Virginia, the victim notifies their insurance company and then the company contacts the party at fault’s company. This usually leads to an expedited process, so I am surprised that your company hasn’t already gotten the ball rolling. Hopefully, it will be resolved quickly for you.
