I kinda remember it. They met thanks to some sort of time travel right? Ah, time travel is my second favorite "deus ex machina", makes anything possible. My favorite one is "it was just a dream" (which I used to belived to be the ending of episode 3, it was all a dream Luke had on the night after ROTJ).
