But we are never shown that Lea's memory of her mother is a "force memory", this is only an explanation that exists in the minds of Lucas apologists. All the movies show is that Padme dies right after childbirth, and then 30 years later her daughter, who was a few seconds old, remembers her.

Humans don't remember people and events until they are about 2 years old. Thus when we say things like "I remember my mum, she died when I was young" it's assumed by others that we were at least a few years old when mommy died.

Perhaps the midichorians remembered Padme for their host, Lea. Or maybe Lea used the force to remember her mummy. But we never saw any of this at all, nor was any of it implied. That's why it's called a continuity lapse.
