Probably George Lucas had people say to him, before he made these movies: "That's a bad idea, don't do it".

So I guess history is just repeating when I say to you:

"That's a bad idea, don't do it".

Seriously, there are bad prequels, and worse prequels. The latter are the ones that have been edited by fans.
