Ok guys i’m going to try to bounce off some ideas here. My next edit/humor video that I have started is going to be from ‘The Force Awakens’. My edit start off with the scene showing Rey saving bb8 when he’s in a net. But you quickly find out she is a savage…meaning she doesn’t speak normal. Bb8 on the other hand can speak. Its going to be a voice over humor edit.

Right when this clip ends i’m going to show Rey and BB8 speaking to that big guy who gives rey her portions…but instead i’m gonna edit it as if this is ‘the bank.’ so when he gives Rey that large ‘portion’ its actually going to be a big pile of money. At this point i’m gonna have some sweet music kick in… and bb8 will be like ‘lets treat ourselves.’ i’m going to show a bunch of scenes of rey driving her speeder, rey wearing the helmet and relaxing, rey flying the falcon…all of this will show that she is living a good life and spending her money. (i’ll get that clip up hopefully soon too) (any ideas on what music would be fun to play when she is spending her money would be great)
Now i want to tweak BB8’s part in this clip so he gets to the point faster. My thinking is the first time we see finn is when he see’s Rey and Bb8 fighting off those guys in the market. When BB8 see’s Finn he’ll tell rey something like “oh no its Finn! You gotta get him or else he’s gonna rat on us.”
My overall idea of where i see this edit/redub going (i never have the whole story laid out…its just concepts and ideas) is that Finn will show up…he’ll be mad that BB8 stole his idea on how to steal money from the bank. He say soemthing like if you don’t pull this scam again for me i’ll rat you out. so Rey and Bb8 go to the bank again to get more money but this time its for Finn. The big guy behind counter knows somethings up and calls police (first order) finn, bb8 and rey get into falcon and drive off.
Now this is where its gets more in the open and things could change…but i’m thinking finn says something like he’s got another bigger pay off idea…and that is to find the original lightsaber of Luke Skywalker. He hears the Luke Skywalker had become rich because he was the only jedi alive and people paid big money to just get lessons from him (think of lets say people would pay big bucks to of had bruce lee teach them lessons)
Now luke is so well off financially, so he put a word out that if someone could find his original lightsaber he would pay big money for it. So Finn/falcon meet up with Han. They pay him for info on where to find this rare item…thats how they’ll end up at Maze place.
Rey (the savage who doesn’t know what shes doing) tries to steal lightsaber (there will be no force visions…when she touches lightsaber i’m gonna make it where alarms go off and Mazz shows up mad at her for trying to steal the saber)
anyways i have more idea after this…but so far this is my main idea at least how to get this far into the movie. Any thoughts so far?
I do have my ending idea…but that i’ll keep to myself for now…obviously as the real movie shows Rey goes to give luke the lightsaber, but i have some thoughts of what i can do with that.
