Does anyone use Digistor Blu-Ray discs?
Hi Ryan,
I’ve never tried those and the listings I’m finding look expensive. Is there a reason why you’d prefer them to Verbatim besides the labeling issue? For what it’s worth, I have found that printing over any small bit of writing on the discs covers it better than you might expect.
I ordered them because they are a solid white printable label and because they are made in Japan and they advertise them as having a hard disc coating. I believe Verbatim has their blank Blu-Ray discs made in different locations that are hard to tell where by the listing on the internet. But I’ve read the made in Japan discs are the best.
I bought the discs for data back for my computer as well as burning Harmy’s Star Wars version on Blu-Ray. So I was mostly interested in good data preservation first and foremost.
Also I believe Verbatim makes low quality and high quality Blu-Ray discs. I don’t know what prices you are comparing. But I believe the “good” Verbatim discs are marked “DataLifePlus”.
