The filmmaker has two ways to convey information:
through exposition
through dramaThe audience could be given more information through exposition, but this should be reserved for minor background details. Parts of the story that are extremely important must be portrayed dramatically, or you will get people like me and DrDre who don’t like the movie and aren’t satisfied with what we’ve been presented.
