I thought the Christmas Special perfectly encapsulated why Moffat needed to go. His wishy-washy fairy tale take on the franchise is just awful. As is his over reliance on big manufactured emotionally manipulative moments. They’ve lost most of their impact from overuse. And he wasted almost the entirety of Capaldi’s run.

Bradley is a fine First Doctor even if he sounds nothing like Hartnell. He did well with what he was given and that’s saying something as the characterization of the First Doctor here was just terrible.

I was surprisingly taken with 13’s introduction. The cliffhanger ending has me intrigued.

Ultimately, I can’t wait until Capaldi joins Big Finish so he can finally be free of the Moff.
