An idea for Finn and his speeder run at the cannon on Crait popped up in my head. What if you have everyone tell him he won’t make it like how it is in the normal film, and then right before Rose sweeps in, we have his dragging stick stabilizing thingy (literally don’t know what it’s called), go out on him, and we use a shot of his speeder crashing from there. I wonder if modifying some of the shots through speed, camera shake, and trimming, along with a retiming of the music, plus some new crashing sfx, COULD MAYBE JUST MAYBE imply that the Cannon stopped Finn’s speeder and that he barely survived. This would show that he never had anyone try to stop him and we still get the epic moment but there’s no Rose involved and it’s kind of a “I told you so” moment from Poe’s previous warnings he gave Finn.
