Question, why not use all the B&W deleted content from the OT? If the goal is to make as extended a version as it can be made, with as much alternate material as possible, then I don’t see a reason to leave out such material. If the edit is to be like a restoration of a partially lost movie, then featuring material in different quality, and text/stills substituting footage should not be a hindrance.

I agree. But it seems like a fan created “Lost Cut” of SW has been talked about for ages. I would be shocked if we ever really see one.

and now you should set the last jedi to your project 😃
is the fire in your heart for the extended versions delete?
there are a long time without news…see many other things you work on.
isn´t it easier to work on the newer movies and set the OT behind?
the unused scenes are in better shape than the OT scenes.

I still think about this project - even if it would be an epic work, indeed!

Yes, I worked on some other projects, mostly because they were almost finished, and missed just the final touches.

I must admit I worked on this project, too, here and there… for example, I’ve tried to remove the timecode from EP7 deleted scenes, with not that great results; or tried to clean up EP4 deleted scenes, also without not much success… I’m aware someone has done this, with good results, and it will be great to use those restored scenes.

Also, I struggle to achieve a minimum quality for the B&W colorization. I know someone would not care to see those inserted in B&W, but I do.

If you ever need any help in the editing process, I can offer some help. I’ve used Sony Vegas for almost 8 years now

Merry Xmas to you, too, and to everyone!

And, no… I’d like to have only video (indeed, not very keen to use B&W scenes not colorized…); of course, when released, anyone could take care of this.

Just general editing, I can help with transitions too,I can’t be much help on the colorizing front, but if you need help on making scenes fit and flow together.

The Revenge of the Sith video game FMVs may be of better quality in the Xbox version, since you specifically said PS2 while the PS2 version only supports 480i 4:3 fullscreen, while the Xbox version can support 480p 16:9 widescreen.

It’s worth giving a shot, in my opinion.

And I’ve loved every pixel of it.

You’re so right.

Not sure if this has bee noted or not, but the best quality you’re going to find the deleted scenes for any prequel movie is 1080p- that’s as high as Lucasfilm went for releasing them, they didn’t upscale them any more for the Blu-Ray release.

Imo a DVD version would probably be better than going back and forth between Blu-Ray and barely 1080p quality clips

No offense, kid, but I don’t think you know how to boil water.

Well, of course I’m aware the BD scenes are the best, still they are dirt and needed to be cleaned (EP 4, 5, 6) or timecode removed (EP 7), or finished (some scenes of EP 1, 2, 3).
