Not saying this was the right way to explain it, but Force spirits were explained in the last 3 episodes of The Clone Wars Season 6.
I’m not asking “why did they become Force Ghosts”, but “why did their bodies disappear?”
Oh, right. Yeah, that doesn’t get explained at all.
