Yeah sure, why not? I imagine projecting your form across the galaxy is pretty damn exhausting. Or is it possible he CHOSE to die so that he could be more useful to Rey as a Force Ghost?
I don’t expect to have all of these questions answered in this movie when there is another still to come.
