I personally don’t see anything wrong with them way the Rancor scene goes, nor with the sail barge scene. And I really like how Luke is different from the conventional Jedi seen in the prequels and etc, because those Jedi failed where Luke didn’t, and because Luke received informal Jedi training and learned a lot by himself, so one could argue that he wouldn’t even know the “correct” way to behave like a JedI. (But I essentially disagree with the claim that Luke doesn’t behave like a Jedi)
