If memory serves, the stuff everyone was looking forward to about the blu-ray bonus discs (deleted scenes, vintage docs) were very OT-centric, and this is back when George was still in charge!
That’s partly because the special features for the PT in the Complete Saga set are horrible. There is so many good features in the DVD releases it’s a damn shame they didn’t bring them over for the BD.
Enough time has passed now that they could just throw in all the PT dvd extras as “vintage docs.”
I could certainly see the appeal in “the beginning” being made available in a form other than a used TPM dvd or an unauthorized youtube upload.
