And I’ve identified the shots needing new slow motion from the crying Rey/Falcon escape. It starts with the shot when the Falcon headlights appear and ends before the shot of the Falcon flying off in a cloud of snow. But strangely this sequence is exactly the same length as in the original movie, but they’re slightly out of sync and shots start at slightly different times so I’m not sure what has been done to that part and why.
I’ve noticed what you’re talking about, but I felt like I’ve noticed this in multiple versions of the movie. Have you checked other sources to see if it has that weird lag/effect as well? Maybe I’m wrong.
I overlayed a part of my rip of the original movie (which doesn’t have the lag, that comes from slowing down shots resulting in some frames being shown twice which causes the stutter) on Restructured V2, and the sequence I mentioned above start and end on the exact same frame but within the sequence some shots seem just slightly slower in V2 and cuts happen at different times. I believe Neverar did this sequence, so maybe he can explain what’s been done. It might have something to do with taking out the shot of Rey picking up the lightsaber and slowing down shots to make this work but then putting the shot back in, I think there was a discussion about that.
