I find The Room entertaining when
TommyJohnny’s on-screen, but it quickly becomes tedious when the movie’s focusing on the other characters. The “love scenes” between Lisa and Mark are amusing at first, but by the fourth one, I just start looking at the clock.
I agree with you on the love scenes. The DVD is great because you can skip at a press of a button without missing anything.
You’re crazy about the rest though. Lisa and I Definitely Have Breast Cancer Claudette? Gold. Where’s My Money Chris-R and Denny? Gold. Lisa and Denny? Gold. The Me Underwears guy? Gold. Random unnamed dude at the party who berates Lisa? Gold. Terrible psychologist Peter (who shows up for no reason halfway through the movie)? Gold.
Everything other than the love scenes is gold, Jerry. Gold.
