you're right we didn't help write thing. But we did pay tickets to see the movies. All the millions of $s that are now in Lucases pockets, started out in our pockets. Yeah we didn't write the thing but we did foot the bill and then some. If there are no movie fans, then there are no movies. I think that gives us the right to criticize the work. Technically it all belongs to Lucas and he can do whatever wants to it. But, does that make it morally right for him to do whatever he wants and ignore the fans and treat them like s***? no.

If Lucas decided that the whole saga would look better if there was a big red X accoss the entire screen on every frame of all 6 films, would you be ok with him doing it? I doubt it .

i understand that it is your right to critize, however i was talking to a person whose name is "fans own the trilogy" just because you pay a ticket to see a movie does not mean it belongs to you. without the millions of people that paid for spiderman comics and movies and so one spiderman would not be around, does that mean that spiderman belongs to to the people, no it belongs to marvel. no movie would ever be made if once it was released itr didnt belong to the maker but rather the people that see it.
