Alright, I wanted to get this out before I called it a night but my computer was acting up so I didn’t have any time to make it pretty, but here’s a very rough idea of what could be done with the music:

password: huxThat’s pretty cool. Which cue is that? I like the part from 0:13 and after. I think before that the Snoke music could stay as it is. And then maybe the new cue could come in slightly earlier so the brass part begins after “once and for all” but before “prepare the weapon”.
The music is just what was in the scene that got taken out (Torn Apart, although the first half is from the OST and isn’t in the film). The problem, I think, with the Snoke music is that it kinda kills the pacing.
As for the end of it, I made a point to line up the cue with where it lands in the film itself (so that when we cut back to Rey and Finn you can pretty much just use the original audio). Coincidentally, this lined up perfectly with the beginning of the cue that just followed the original audio from before we cut away to Snoke.
If there was some way to shorten this scene I think there’s another, possibly better way the music could go.
