The Ewoks, no matter how they are subtitled are utterly impossible to take seriously. The only hope is to edit their screen time down, and turn all of their 'attacks' into a quick cut montage, as if it was all happening at once. By doing this, it lives it ambigous as to who was setting up the traps and who was pulling them.
