I have some questions and could the eminenly wise person a few posts above mine please answer?
1. What is a true Star Wars fan, exactly?
2. How does liking Ep1, 2 or 3 for that matter make them NOT a true fan?
3. Is it fair to be such a damned Nazi towards them, just because they happen to like a movie?
Now be honest, if someone walks up to me and says "Pearl Harbour was great", I kick the bastard. But come on, sucky as Star Wars can be, it isn't deserving of that kind of vitriole. I don't think I've seen a single thread called "Things you LIKED about Episode III". It's all full of people so preoccupied with trying to promote their image as tasteful folk who know something about movies (it ain't fooling anyone) that they really can't see past their own pimply noses and say 'well screw it, it wasn't THAT bad'. (Seriously, you want a bad film, go rent "Gladiator" or "Double Team").
