Chewie’s Tarzan yell has got to go.
Even though it’s Ady’s edit and likely has his own remove / restore list already on such things, I think it would be fun to make and maintain our own unofficial list of just those really awful parts that GL added or changed in his SEs onwards or even the few that were always there in the theatrical release. I’ll start:
- All of George’s weird, wacky and ridiculous (sorry Frink 😛 ) changes from the SEs onwards.

He he, but seriously I think it would be great to see the below removed or restored to original in Ady’s edit:
- Jabba’s massively oversized and out of proportion front door (restore to original door)
- Jedi Rocks music, scene and new characters made just for this scene (remove or restore to original scene)
- Salacious B. Crumb / Jabba’s pet (remove or replace with new CGI / better puppet)
- Sarlacc beak and extra tentacles (remove or restore entire Sarlacc to original)
- Han’s line “It’s alright, I can see much better” (restore to original)
- Any overly silly Ewok scenes (remove)
- Chewie’s tarzan yell (remove)
- Vader’s “No” and “NOOooooo” (remove)
- Vader’s eyebrows (restore)
- Hayden’s force ghost head (restore to original)
That’s a start for the obvious ones, I’m sure other people know more that aren’t as major or obvious but are still real single eyebrow raisers.
