“Reeker” (2005)

A neat little slasher mystery tinged with humour that had me confused throughout until the final few minutes made sense of it all and instantly made me want to go back and rewatch it. A low budget means visual effects are used sparingly and the atmosphere benefits from it - but what we do get is a great blend of practical and CG.

Great cast of vaguely familiar actors and you also get Michael Ironside too (bless his heart, even when he’s smiling and playing a good guy he’s still terrifying!)

I had a look and there’s some sequels to this. I shall not be partaking though, this is perfect as it is and there’s no need to do anything more with this story.

Does exactly what it’s supposed to and does it well. I give it 4 half-a-trucker’s out of 5.
