Haha, I saw those “ugly sweater covers” myself today. Sometimes the holiday season brings some nifty “limited time” sets, sometimes it brings some hideous ones. These are kind of in the middle for me, in that the novelty is amusing, but they’ll look dumb a month or so after Christmas, with some exceptions (something like Christmas Vacation or Home Alone, for instance).
I saw this Godfather set today, too, which bugs me simply because the logo is wrong - the bar on top of the “G” doesn’t come as close to the “D” as it should. The art itself is alright, but the incorrect logo really grinds my gears. (The first DVD set that came out back in the day had the same problem for some reason.)
