What in SW DOES make sense????

We've had tons of threads focusing on nitpicking all the thousands of things that DON'T jive between the OT, OOT, PT, comics, books, cartoons, cereal boxes etc... but can anyone think of something that you feel worked ALL THE WAY through the series? Something not just that you think was 'cool' but something that someone else can't really argue your point on?

Harder than you might think, it is...

Wedge Antillies makes perfect sense... Just... he has always made sense.

Wedge Antilles is the one who really defeated the Empire.

Or does it? You have to wonder if the tainted Luke Skywalker eventually falls to the Dark Side.

Yes, he does. Dark Empire comic book/radio adaptation.

He turns, but returns to the light during a saber fight with Leia. I've not read the actual comics or heard the radio version, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night...I mean I did read the Essential Chronology, which sums it all up.

Han Solo always made perfect sense to me. I don't think there is any inconsistences about that character... 90% of SW is composed of plot holes or ridiculous inconsistences
“Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.” — Nazi Reich Marshal Hermann Goering

Uh, no, because now there's the "do you remember your mother" inconsistence...

Yeah, like the good won the war in Korea, the war in Vietnam or the war in Somalia.

There is no backstory that I'm aware of....although anyone who's read the book Tales From Jabba's Palace probably knows the answer.

At any rate, I was just being perverted with that comment about Twi'lek slaves. I'm the one who dreams of Twi'lek strip bars and blowing all my money on a TEN-SOME with 9 other Twi'leks....all in various colors.

Damn, I'm sick!!!!!

The only thing that seems to me to make sense is barring continuity issues aside is, That the main star wars story is about 1 family the skywalkers. And even continues into the expanded universe with han and leia's children, and luke and mara's. the other stories to me have always been filler, or interesting side stories. That anakin and luke were so much alike, but made different choices and went down different paths. That as lucas has said repeatedly, are we going to make the same mistakes as the last generation and fall into the same pitfalls as our fathers did before us. we must learn from the past generations mistakes and pass that onto our children.

“Always loved Vader’s wordless self sacrifice. Another shitty, clueless, revision like Greedo and young Anakin’s ghost. What a fucking shame.” -Simon Pegg.
