Goonies is one of those great movies that never seems to age. There are always going to be the Chunks, the Datas and the Mouths as we go through life meeting new people.

I enjoyed the DVD very much because they had practically the entire cast for the commentary, and they had some great stories to tell:
1. Jeff Coehn (Chunk) ran for class president in high school, using "I was Chunk" as his slogan and he won.
2. Robert Davi (Jake Fratelli...the one with hair) tells how in the prep for one scene he's told "Ok, Anne Ramsey (Moma Fratelli) is going to slap on the face. Now she's old and kind of frail so you need to make sure it looks good. Now, he's ready for a soft hit to the face, and it turns out she really walloped him hard. He had no idea it was coming.
3. About half way through, Sean Astin mysteriously disappears from the commentary. Corey Feldman makes the comment that he had to leave to get back to shooting on Lord of the Rings.
4. Being the kids that they were, there was a line in the movie that they loved and they apparently spent a couple weeks just beating the line to death, using it over and over. It was Data's "You know, I'm wondering what's in the bag?"
