The deleted scene that serves as the base is shot from Dooku’s side, so the footage wouldn’t work for a scene of face-to-face communication. Besides, Jango’s in the shot. I tried working with the footage of Dooku talking to Obi-Wan, as it’s the only one with the kind of shots needed. I managed to find footage to go with the line “We don’t recognize the Republic out here.” Maybe the line “It’s a pity our paths had never crossed.” could be used too?
