I’ve been reading “day by day”, the biography of Stevie Ray Vaughan. It’s an almost day to day biography of his life and career compiled from production notes and journal entries, filled up with general information and anecdotes from friends and family. It’s extremely interesting and he seemed to be a real stand up guy too, had a really good reputation both personally and professionally. Seemed to be really caring and treated people with respect. Refreshing to read of a famous (possibly rock star status towards the end of his life,) musician who was actually a decent human being.
