I figured everyone in the galaxy knows he's a Sith Lord by the time of Episode 4... It's not like he has any need to hide it by that point. And as for Tarkin, I doubt he'd care if he was working for a Sith Lord... they obviously share the same ideas and opinions, so to him, the Sith must be good guys (even though they're bad guys.

).

I agree with Darth Simon, nothing really needs explaining.
